Spring Volleyball Skill Clinics
Attack Volleyball Academy will be offering various Skills Clinics during the Spring and Summer. These clinics are designed to help your daughter develop volleyball skills as they work toward middle school and high school.
Individual training in passing, serving, hitting and serving will be the major focus. Understanding of team play will also be covered including rotation, positions on the court, offense and defense. The purpose of the small group concept is to make sure each player gets as much one on one attention as possible. This is the place where good volleyball habits will be formed.
All Coaches will be adult, current professional coaches. Also, coaches with past coaching experience or former high level players will conduct each clinic conducted at Attack Volleyball!!
Various age groups and skill levels include:
1. Beginning volleyball "All-skills" clinics.
2. More advanced "All Skills" clinics (some experience including camps, leagues or clinics)
3. Higher advanced level clinics for 5th, 6th and 7th grade girls.
During the summer, we will offer many types of mini-camps and clinics for up-coming 7th and 8th grade players and players with middle school or "club volleyball" experience.
All-Skills Clinic Description

Serving - Learning to master the overhand serve with increased power and control

Ball Control and Passing - Learning serve receive, forearm passimg and overhand passing

Hitting - Learning correct hitting technique, including approach, arm swing and footwork

Setting - Learning fundamentals

Maximm of 12 players/clinic. Minimum of 8 players/clinic

ATTACK ACADEMY t-shirts will be provided.
Cost - 6 weeks clinics - $165.00
First Come, First Serve - A clinic will be closed when 12 girls are registered.
Benefits of Small Group Clinics
- Less "down" time
- More repetitions. More "touches" on the ball
- More scrimmage time with detailed instruction.
- Advanced training that can move at a faster pace. Faster learning curve
- Weekly homework assignments will be given
Clinic Description
Young Advanced - 4th grade girls with a good amount of organized volleyball experience and 5th grade girls with only one season of organized volleyball experience.
Advanced - 4th grade girls with much volleyball experience, 5th and 6th grade girls with league, camp or clinic experience and ability, and 7th grade beginners.
Highly Advanced - 6th grade and 7th grade girls with a good amount of experience and ability.
(May call Coach Liggett at 972-315-9500 for consultation. It is important to place your daughter in the clinic that is right for her at this time.
If a player has a good amount of experience but has not participated with Attack, you will probably need to bring your daughter to The MAC for coaches approval if interested in the "Highly Advanced" clinics.
