Jennifer Finnell

Jennifer is in her 11th year of teaching English and coaching volleyball at Halton High School.  She was an assistant coach at various levels from 2001-2006.  She took over the varsity program in 2006 and led Haltom's return to post season play in 2008 after a nine year absence.  She has coached muliple All District players and currently has players in the NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II and NJCAA levels.  Along with coaching volleyball at Halton High, she coached club volleyball for Texas Image in 2008 & 2009.  She has completed CAP I Certification from USAV and is IMPACT certified.   As a high school athlete, Jennifer competed in Volleyball, Basketball and Track.  She has been married to her husband Sean for 8 years.  Jennifer will begin her third season at Attack.

 

Greg Meschell

Greg is a 1998 graduate of Arkansas University, where he majored in Kinesiology and also obtained minors in both mathematics and health education.  Throughout college, he played with a local team and developed a love for the game which later carried over to a life long career teaching the game to kids.  He has worked for the Boys and Girls Club of America for 4 year; Teaching and working with kids of all ages.  He currently is the head volleyball coach at Harpool Middle School in Lantana, where he is currently opening a new school for the Denton School District.  He has been coaching volleyball for a total of 13 years and has coached 2 years at the varsity level and 11 years at the middle school level.  He has led his middle school teams to 3 district Championships in Volleyball.  At the varsity level he helped lead the team to the regional playoffs.  He has coached for Dallas Synergy, Texas Juniors DFW, and Tejas Volleyball Clubs.  He loves working with middle school age kids so that he can help develop the fundamental skills that are essential later on in their volleyball careers.

 

Brenda Cox

Brenda is a 1992 graduate of SMU.  She was a starter for the SMU basketball team.   Brenda excelled in volleyball and basketball at the high school and junior college level.  She was All-State in volleyball and basketball her junior and senior years of high school.  In Junior College she was named to the All-region team in volleyball and basketball.  After graduation from SMU, she coached volleyball and basketball at All Saints Epicopal School in Fort Worth.

Today, Brenda and her husband, Dennis,have four daughters that keep them very busy in sporting activities.  She in excited to get back into her passion of coaching volleyball and developing young players as they grow.  This will be her 3rd season with Attack.

 

Craig Liggett 

 Craig serves as the volleyball director of Attack Volleyball and also the owner of The MAC Sports.   He has coached club and recreational sports for the past 11 years in volleyball, basketball and football.  Additionally, he served as a middle school and high school basketball and football coach at Liberty Christian during the 2003-04 seasons.  During the past two years, Craig has coached many camps, clinics and leagues with Attack Academy.  His most enjoyable and satisfying moments in coaching sports is helping young athletes grow as players and helping them grow personally into fine and respectable young adults. 

Craig and his wife, Lisa have 3 kids and they live in Argyle, TX.

  

Marcia Cooke

 Marcia graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Health.  She played two years of basketball for OSU.  Marcia has taught for 29 years and has coached for 27 years.  She has coached 7th and 8th grade volleyball for 26 years with the last fifteen at Briarhill Middle School.  Several of her 8th grade teams at Briarhill have won the LISD District Championship.  Marcia has been married 21 years to Phil Cooke, an economics teacher at Marcus.  They have two daughters, Brooke Jefferies and Lauren.  She is impact certified and will be starting her seventh year of coaching club volleyball.  Marcia is beginning her second year with Attack. 

Jay Samide  

 Jay Samide attended Illinois State University where he played four years of club ball ( 1992-1996).  He was vice-president of the ISU Volleyball Club his senior year.  After graduating, he moved to Texas to teach math and coach volleyball.  He coached two years at McKamy Middle School in Flower Mound TX.  He then moved up to be the varsity coach at Lewisville High School where he presently serves.  He has coached at Lewisville High for 13 years.  He has also coached boy's club volleyball for Addison Volleyball club and girl's club ball for Texas Image.  This will be Jay's third season with Attack.

Jay and his wife Angela have three kids, Bailey, Andrew and Addison.  His family keeps him busy with many different sporting and church activities.  He loves to share his knowledge of sports with young athletes.

 

Sharon Clouse

Sharon graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Studies.  She played competitive intramural volleyball all 4 years at TSU.  Sharon has 13 years of volleyball coaching experience, with 12 of those 13 at Medlin Middle School in the Northwest ISD.  Several of her 8th grade volleyball teams have won district championships through the years.  Her focus has always been on teaching fundamentals and helping her players develop a love for the game.  Sharon is married to Jason Clouse who is an 8th grade football, basketball and track coach.  Together, they have four children, Kevin, Reilly, Jordan and Regan.  This will be her second year with Attack Volleyball and she is looking forward to a great club season.

 

Chris Watkins

Chris is a recent graduate at UTA in Arlington with a major in Kinesiology with a minor in English.  He received all-state honors in basketball and baseball in high school and played baseball for 2 years at Tyler Junior College.  Chris is currently the head Middle School coach at Coram Deo academy in Flower Mound.  He has conducted many camps and clinics most recently with Skyline volleyball in Dallas.  Chris learned the game in college by playing club volleyball and beach volleyball.  Chris enjoys teaching strong fundamentals and uses that passion in his volleyball career at Coram Deo.   Chris is married to Darci and will be in his first year with Attack.
