MARK BOHLS  |  14 WHITE HEAD COACH

Mark is from Carrollton, TX. Growing up he worked and trained as a musician and an athlete, playing French Horn and Basketball both at high levels. In college he majored in music and played Div. 1 basketball, ultimately pursuing music with both a Bachelors and Masters from Texas Tech University. After leaving basketball Mark began playing both indoor and beach volleyball while at Texas Tech, and continues to play and perform both as a musician and athlete.

Teaching has also become a large part of Mark’s life as he teaches music and coaches volleyball both, and enjoys every minute of it. Learning what it takes to be a productive member and leader on any team, whether on the court or in the concert hall, is a valuable lesson he has learned, and a large part of what he shares to his students and players to achieve success. To be part of a successful team requires an awareness of your teammates, but also of yourself.

Outside of sports and music Mark enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as running with his dog Hooch the Pooch.
